Now available: a portal in which all relevant collections of the BHIC (currently 24 public collections) can be searched.

As part of a co-creation process, the e-Depot (Preservica) has been fully made accessible via full-text search, including thumbnails and hierarchical relationships.

How We Help

MY-LEX developed a portal in which all (currently 24) public collections of the BHIC are searchable , both for public access (https://digitaaldepot.bhic.nl/) and for officials of the custodians, based on rights and roles.

The Result

Citizens, businesses and officials can use this solution to search, browse and refine results for the information relevant to them with great ease.

End users can find the desired information (such as building permits) in a very user-friendly and intuitive way and view it immediately if it is public information. If the information is copyright-protected, users can easily submit a request via an e-form and receive a download link.
