Municipality of Rotterdam centralises archiving
and phases out legacy systems in a controlled way
Expansion of the search portal

Molenlanden has been a MY-LEX client for some time and has since made several sources accessible via the Core search portal. They have now begun phasing out systems and therefore wished to make the (old) invoices accessible as well, so that they could subsequently be archived correctly, via Control.
What’s happening in the Molenlanden municipality?
Data is located in various systems, which makes it difficult to maintain an overview.
Data can be phased out more efficiently and in compliance with regulations if clear access is possible.
Must be managed correctly (stored and destroyed) and made accessible.
Rights and roles for administrators and staff must be clear, including in the metadata.
Molenlanden Municipality is starting to phase out systems. As data must be managed correctly (stored and destroyed) and made accessible, it is first added to MY-LEX Control. This includes, amongst other things, files containing old invoices.

With the correct access rights, staff can now also view all invoices quickly and easily via a search in the Core search environment. Following an internal check for duplicate data and the accuracy of metadata, sources can be phased out, managed, destroyed or archived correctly with Control.
